Today’s Tip: As we explored yesterday, color is a powerful element in photography. But let’s not forget black and white, or monochrome, which can be very dramatic! Black, white, gray, and shades in between interact in the frame in dynamic ways.
I had the opportunity to visit Hearst’s castle this year and I was simply in awe at the splendor this place had to offer. Truly such a beautiful place. Julia Morgan did a splendid job creating these architectural beauties.
And because the assignment asked me to convert my picture into black and white I did. Although I am still partial to the color one.
