Blogging 101 – Day Twelve: Increase Your Commenting Confidence

Today’s task: read six posts written in response to the same prompt, and leave comments on at least two of them.

Oh how I tried to do this task. I randomly picked six posts and I came up with nothing. After my 15th, one I gave up. I did liked a handful of comments but just wasn’t inspired enough to leave a comment.
I don’t know I really have to feel something to leave a comment. I am not the type to write something for the sake of writing something.
I suppose the good thing is you know now that when I do leave a comment on your blog is because I was genuinely touched in some way. That’s good, no?

  1. Perhaps but there are always things you can comment on – even if the post hasn’t been life changing.
For example, did you agree with that they’ve said, have you ever felt what they are talking about – what was your experience like, did you enjoy the posts (a simple – great post comment is nice to receive).
I guess even if you’re not that into it, commenting still let’s you build a connection with the writer and over time the hope is you have a community I guess.

    1. Thank you and I think you are so right. 🙂
I should be able to find something to comment about but most of all I should stop worrying that if I comment they might think what I write is silly.
      sigh
Sometimes is hard not being so confident… It’s something I am working on.

Thank you for taking the time to write this. 🙂
